Early morning departure from Constantine. Arrival 2 hours later at Medracen. Imagine a journey back in time to one of Algeria's hidden wonders, the majestic Mausoleum of Medracen. Dating from the 3rd century BC. BC, this historic pearl is located in the heart of the magnificent Aurès mountains, in the commune of Boumia, within the wilaya of Batna. The Medracen stands proudly as a silent witness to ancient history, an enigmatic Numidian funerary structure. This stone mound, which stretches 58.9 meters in diameter and rises to an imposing height of 18.5 meters, is a dazzling example of the architectural ingenuity of the period. Local specialty lunch from the Aurès and Batna (Feremsa) region.
