    Mutianyu Great Wall

    Your tour guide will be welcoming you at your hotel or Beijing Railway Station at 09:00 a.m.. Then, we will drive out of the city to Mutianyu Great Wall and start the wonderful Beijing tour. The Mutianyu Great Wall is less well-known to tourists but with scenery that can rival against any section of the Great Wall. It is currently the longest section and has a high reputation. Surrounded by lush forests, Mutianyu Great Wall not only teaches you a wonderful Chinese history lesson, but also brings you closer to nature. Decorated by blooming flowers in spring and summer, golden leaves in fall, and blanketed with snow in winter, the grandeur of Mutianyu Great Wall is to be taken in at all seasons. Things to do on the Mutianyu Great Wall: walk along the pathway with dense watchtowers and fortresses and feel its profound history; indulge yourself in the Mutianyu Great Wall; opt to take a cable car ride to soar over the Mutianyu Great Wall; enjoy the excitement of a toboggan ride winding through mountains. After lunch, we will drive back to Beijing downtown. We will visit a new landmarks of Beijing Urban Culture - 798 Art Zone.

    The 798 Art Zone is named after a factory which was built in 1950s. It is famous for its unique art exhibition and special creation workshop. Now the 798 Art Zone has become one of the new landmarks of Beijing Urban Culture. Walking in the 798 Art Zone, visitors can feel the contrast of the present with the past. On one side are the mottled redbrick walls with slogans of different ages; on another side are the scattered orderly industrial plants and crisscross pipelines. Uniformed workers and fashion visitors on the street form unique scenery. History and reality, industry and the arts perfectly merge together there. Then, we will transfer to Qianmen Main Street, admire the nighttime cityscape along the way and enjoy splendid performances combined with outstanding folk arts at Lao She Teahouse.

    Located at the central axis of Beijing City, Qianmen Street is a famous pedestrian street for shopping and sightseeing, running from the Archery Tower of Qianmen in the north to the turning of Tiantan Park in the south. It is 840 meters in length and 21 meters in width. It is composed with buildings whose styles resemble the late Qing Dynasty. It has history of more than 570 years. Now Qianmen Street becomes an important night life place for locals. Qianmen Street is a symbol of genuine local culture. Visitors can enjoy a traditional Chinese way of life.

    Lao She Teahouse is located in Qianmen Street, covering a business area of 2,600 square meters.
