Among all the notable mountains in China, Mt. Huangshan is probably the most famous. We will explore Huangshan city in 3 days. Let’s get to know Huangshan City, which is a region with a long history and splendid culture, including Hui businessmen, Hui carvings, Hui architecture, Hui cuisine, and Hui Opera (one of the tonalities of Beijing Opera). Take the cable car up Mt. Huangshan and admire Absurd Stones, Strange Pines and Sea of Clouds. Walk along the Tunxi Ancient street, visit traditional Hui architecture and get insight into Hui ink and the life of Hui businessmen.

Emerald Valley, also known as the Lovers Valley. It is not as famous as Mt. Huangshan but less crowds which makes it more serene. And if you have seen the movie Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, you will be amazed that the scenes in the movie were exactly the same or even more beautiful as what you actually saw. It is a tranquil place to have a relaxing walk and enjoy natural view.

Mt. Huangshan is a breathtaking and majestic place. The views are incredible. There are many spots to enjoy the beautiful view and Shixin Peak is the first viewing spot after Yungu cable car. It is a perfect spot for good view of the granite peaks of Huangshan.

Mt. Huangshan is a mixed property site. As a World Cultural and Natural Heritage and a national scenic spot, Mt. Huangshan is regarded as one of the representatives of the Chinese magnificent scenery and splendid culture and reputed as “Earth Paradise” and “the Most Amazing Mountain in the World”. Hundreds of millions of tourists come here to enjoy its breathtaking view and its advantaged natural resources. Legions of poets and painters have drawn inspiration from Mt. Huangshan’s beauty.

6Tunxi Ancient Street
After lunch, we will head over to Tunxi Ancient Street. Tunxi Ancient Street has a long history of more than 600 years. It shaped like a fishbone with 21 side streets and alleys still preserved. You can see some old shops and restored buildings, some originally dating back to the Song Dynasty. By getting to know the Hui architecture, you can get insight into the life of Hui businessmen in Qing Dynasty.
