You will arrive at Seronera Airstrip around 11:00 a.m., where your safari guide will be waiting to greet you. They will have a picnic lunch prepared and will be ready to begin your safari. After starting your game drive, you’ll stop around 1:00 p.m. for lunch. The adventure will continue as you search for the Serengeti’s big cats and other wildlife. In the evening, you'll return to Misako Luxury Lodge (or a similar lodge, depending on availability) in time for dinner and an overnight stay.
You’ll begin your day early with a sunrise game drive through the Serengeti, offering the perfect chance to witness predators in action. As you explore, you’ll also be treated to a breathtaking Serengeti sunrise, where the sun sets the savannah ablaze with color. After a leisurely breakfast, you'll continue your journey toward Ngorongoro. The drive itself is an adventure, with your guide on the lookout for the Big Five, the wildebeest migration, or any other incredible wildlife sightings you’re hoping for. Along the way, you’ll also visit a Maasai boma, where you can experience the vibrancy of traditional Maasai culture—participating in dance, touring an authentic village, and browsing local crafts at the market.
After breakfast, you'll head to Ngorongoro Crater, often regarded as the Eighth Wonder of the World. The journey offers a stunning panoramic view of this vast, lush caldera. Known for its incredible biodiversity, the Ngorongoro Conservation Area is home to over 120 species of mammals, including the legendary Big Five. It's one of the best places to spot the endangered black rhinoceros grazing on the open plains, as well as large groups of hippos cooling off in the water. From your open-top vehicle, you'll have the perfect opportunity to observe and photograph some of Africa's most iconic wildlife. The crater also hosts a variety of predators, such as lions, leopards, cheetahs, jackals, and hyenas, alongside abundant herds of wildebeests, zebras, antelopes, and cape buffalos. Enjoy a picnic lunch by the famous hippo pool before heading back to Arusha Airport.
