We offer you a slightly different version of the trip - in addition to the famous Paradise Island, we encourage you to visit places off the beaten path :)
Oue extras include:
- the idyllic Manate Sanctuary,
- a wild beach abundant with sea snail shells,
- fish bars on the beach, beloved by locals.
This is an opportunity to sample authentic Dominican cuisine and taste fresh oysters straight from the mangroves!
The tour program:
- about 2h drive from Puerto Plata to Punta Rucia beach
- around 30min visit in the Manatee Sanctuary located by the lagoon bay surrounded by mangrove forests
- cruise to Paradise Island by speedboat, with a stop for a swim and cuba libre in the azure natural pool
- sunbathing on Paradise Island (open bar with a good rum cocktails) and snorkeling with a guide on the coral reef
- return cruise through the labyrinth of mangrove forests
- lunch on the beach frequented by locals in typical fish and seafood restaurants
- relax on the beach

1Santuario Mamiferos Marinos De Estero Hondo
The drive from the meeting point to the coastal area where the visited attractions are located will take about 2 hours. Discover some of the world's most endangered marine mammals. Manatees are gentle herbivores. About 50 of those animals live in the wild in the Manatee Sanctuary. Maybe you'll have a chance to see them? For sure you'll get to know their natural environment and you will have the opportunity to walk along one of the wild beaches. Enjoy a completely natural coastline away from hotels and resorts!

2Paradise Island & The Mangroves (Cayo Arena)
Want to make a visit to paradise? Take a cruise to Paradise Island!.. Enjoy a fast boat through azure waters, have a drink in a natural pool, admire white sand beach... Explore the coral reef around the island. Our guide will keep eye on you. Feel safe On the way back traverse the labyrinth of mangrove forests. A few hours in the real caribbean world! Water, rum coctailes and snorkeling masks included.

3Playa de Punta Rucia
After an exciting adventure, enjoy a typical lunch at the fish bar right on the beach. Here, fish and seafood are cooked on traditional fireplaces. The customers are mostly locals. You can also taste the fresh oysters harvested each morning in the mangrove forests. After lunch, you can still enjoy relaxing on a beach with calm waters. This trip is a real caribbean adventure, meeting the azure ocean, white sand and sun. Ride the waves, dive the coral reef, make a toast with cuba libre and taste the local seafood! Feel the caribbean vibes: D The way back to the drop off point will take about 2 hours.
