We offer an unforgettable combo tour featuring shark cage diving and whale watching in Gansbaai. Dive into the waters to get up close with various shark species from the safety of a cage, and then witness the majestic Southern Right, Humpback, and Bryde’s Whales in their natural habitat. What's Included
Meeting and pickup
We are situated on the main road going into Kleinbaai. Our sign is big and easy to spot on our sidewalk on the left.
What to expect
After a short boat trip out to sea, we will begin to attract the sharks and the divers will get in the cage. No snorkeling or diving experience is required.
We are very often visited by your bronze whaler sharks and cape fur seals. Less frequent sightings include short-tail stingrays, sunfish, sevengill sharks and the great white shark. We often see southern right whales on the boat trip as well (depending on the season).
Once back at the dive center, your guests will enjoy nice warm showers and a hearty lunch with a stunning view. After lunch you will head to the whale watching vessel for an exciting whale encounter.
Sample Combo Tour Day with Cape Shark Adventures
8:00 AM: Arrive at the Cape Shark Adventures meeting point for breakfast and a safety briefing.
9:00 AM: Depart for the shark cage diving trip.
11:00 AM: Return to the harbor, enjoy some refreshments, and relax.
13:00 PM: Set off on the whale watching tour.
15:00 PM: Return to the harbour, wrapping up the day’s adventure.
