Beyond the gorge, the river broadens into the Valle del Pacuare, offering a calmer 5-mile (8-kilometer) stretch perfect for wildlife spotting and relaxing. Rapids like "Cimarrones," "The Play Hole," "El Indio," and "Magnetic Rock" keep the adventure alive amid lush scenery.
