As one of the oldest buildings in South Africa, the Castle of Good Hope stands as a historical landmark that remains open to visitors. It showcases significant historical events that occurred within its walls, dating back 350 years. The experience includes the Key Ceremony and the Canon Firing, both of which are highlights of your visit. Please note: The Key Ceremony takes place Monday to Friday.
