    Day 1

    A drive from Johannesburg to Waterberg region

    On the first day of the tour, we would drive from Johannesburg to the small town of Mokopane. Our lodge is located next to the town of Mokopane. Our lodge is part of the private concession in the greater Waterberg region. We would arrive at our accommodations in the afternoon. The afternoon would be free for the guests to participate in optional activities offered by the lodge, like a game drive and a game walk.

    Drive from Waterberg region to Khama Rhino Sanctuary

    We would drive for 2 hours and 30 minutes to reach the border between South Africa and Botswana. After border formalities, we would then drive for about two hours to the Rhino-Khama Sanctuary. In the late afternoon, we would do the game drive around the Rhino Khama Sanctuary. Khama Rhino Sanctuary is 8500 hectares and was established in 1989 to protect the endangered rhino species.

    A drive from Khama Rhino Sanctuary to Elephant Sand lodge

    Today, we have a long drive from Khama Rhino Sanctuary to Elephant sand lodge which is located 50 km from the small village of Nata in Botswana. In the small village of Nata, we will visit Makgadikgadi salt pan, which is one of the biggest salt pans after the salt pans in Bolivia and Utah in the USA. After the visit to the Salt pan, we would make our way to Elephant sand lodge, which is situated 50 km from the village of Nata.

    Botswana adventure activity

    After breakfast, we will make our way to Chobe National Park, which is about a three-hour drive from Elephant Sand Lodge. On our arrival, we will check-in at our lodge, and in the late afternoon, we will participate in the three-hour sunset boat cruise with the chance to see water birds, hippos, elephants, crocodiles, buffalos, and some water antelopes.

    Morning game drive at Chobe National park and drive to Zimbabwe

    Today we will participate in the 3-hour morning game drive with a jeppe at Chobe National Park. After the morning game drive, we will drive back to our lodge. After breakfast, we will cross the border to Zimbabwe. We will make our way to Victoria Falls, which is about 80 km from the border between Botswana and Zimbabwe. The rest of the day would be free, as we do not have any activities planned for the afternoon.

    Victoria falls tour and optional activities

    After breakfast, we will visit Victoria Falls, which is located just a 5-minute drive from our lodge. The afternoon would be free for the guests to explore the small town of Victoria Falls, visit local markets, and participate in optional activities like bungee jumping, sunset boat cruises, helicopter flights over Victoria Falls, interaction with lions, etc.

    End of the tour- Airport transfer

    Today is our last day, and after breakfast, guests will be transported to Victoria Falls Airport for their different flights back home.
