After the hike, unwind with a picnic lunch made from local specialties, paired with excellent Douro wines. Savor the flavors of the region as you relax and enjoy the surroundings.

What to expect

We invite you to join us and enjoy the most beautiful wine landscape in the world. The Douro Valley is a blend of steep hills and deep valleys. During our tour, you will hike for about 2 hours through both old and new vineyards.
We are a small family-run wine tourism business, focused on offering the most genuine and authentic experiences.
The tour begins around 9:30 AM in our small village in the heart of the Douro Valley. It's here, in Cumieira—about 1 hour from Porto—where we’ll meet and where the entire experience takes place. We’ll walk at a gentle pace through vineyards owned by both small-scale and large producers. You’ll have time to breathe, take photos, and chat with us.
This is a private tour, so we tailor the experience to your interests and preferences.
We aim to stay as close as possible to our roots, making this a truly local experience. Along the way, you'll connect with local people, culture, and gastronomy. At the end of the walk, we’ll serve you a rich picnic featuring typical regional products and our excellent wines. It's one of the highlights of the tour and lasts about two hours.
The experience ends where it began.
