Meeting Point: We'll be waiting for you at the car park near the Centro de Lazer de Ansiães (Centre of Leisure of Ansiães). GPS Coordinates: 41°15'02.4"N 7°57'14.2"W We also offer a transfer service at an additional cost. If you’d like to arrange this, please contact us in advance.
What to expect
This 12km trail takes around 3 hours to complete — but there's no pressure and no rush. The experience is all about soaking in the beauty of wild, untouched nature while enjoying a light physical challenge.
We begin at 9:30 a.m. and wrap up around 12:30 p.m., giving you time to fully absorb the sights, sounds, and scents of one of Portugal’s most stunning landscapes.
You’ll walk through vibrant, colorful woods filled with birdsong and the fresh scent of the forest. The trail is diverse, with natural ups and downs and several peaceful crossings of small rivers that add even more charm to the journey.
There will be plenty of chances to pause, take in the views, and snap unforgettable photos.
After the walk, we’ll share a delicious picnic lunch made with local, regional products — a true taste of Portugal that everyone loves. And after the hike, you’ll have earned it!
