Gileemalee Walawwa is a colonial villa where accommodation is provided for the traveller on the tour. The participants are expected to arrive at the property before the tour.
- Arrive in Ratnapura and check in at the Gileemale Walawwa. - Enjoy a traditional Sri Lankan meal for Lunch. - After lunch join your bird-watching guide and conduct a bird-watching tour around the Walawwa. Gileemale Walawwa lies in the lush 25-acre Gileemale Estate which fosters traditional agricultural methods, and where Sabaragamuwa grow cinnamon, tab rubber, pick coconut and pluck tea.
- With a packed breakfast today, we leave for Rathganga (a 15-minute drive from the Walawwa), for a bird-watching expedition. - Make a visit to the Rathganga Temple. - Enjoy your lunch at a scenic location. - On completion return back to the Walawwa for Dinner.
