Meeting and pickup
The pick up location will be in front of the Honolulu Zoo main entrance parking lot. Next to the electric vehicle charging stations. The address is: 151 Kapahulu St., Honolulu, HI, 96822 To the left of the main entrance there is an electric vehicle charging station, your guide will pull up in that general area. We will message you here when we are about 20 min away. Please make sure to wear shoes for a muddy hike!

This hike to one of Hawaii’s most incredible waterfalls is fit for all experience levels. After pickup, we will drive about 15 minutes to the trailhead where the muddy adventure begins. The trail is a true rainforest trail, misty and green most of the time. Along the trail, you will hike through bamboo forests, guava tree meadows, taro patches, and will cross a small stream several times before reaching the waterfall. The stream is only ankle deep, but your shoes will get wet on this trail. Once we reach the waterfall, feel free take snap some pictures, or get your feet wet in the pool below. Stay on trail with an experienced and trusted local guide, learn about Hawai’i history, and explore nature without the tourist crowds.
