Discover the king penguins of Volunteer Point on a private, eco-conscious 4x4 adventure with a local guide who knows and loves the Falkland Islands. Your vehicle is reserved exclusively for your group, with comfortable seating for up to four passengers.

Travel across open landscapes, private farmland and rugged off-road tracks before spending unhurried time watching penguins and exploring the white-sand beach. Alongside the king penguin colony, look out for gentoo and Magellanic penguins—wonderful opportunities for wildlife watching and photography.

Our eco-conscious approach includes a homemade lunch featuring locally sourced ingredients, included hot and cold drinks, and water in recyclable aluminium cans. We also support One Tree Planted with a tree planted for every vehicle booked.

    Spend time among the king penguins at Volunteer Point, home to the Falkland Islands’ largest king penguin colony. Explore the white-sand beach and look out for gentoo and Magellanic penguins nearby. Enjoy unhurried opportunities to watch their behaviour, take photographs and soak up the coastal scenery, while keeping a respectful distance from the wildlife.

    Look around the capital city Stanley. See the main landmarks: Christ Church Cathedral, Whalebone Arch, Liberation Monument, Battle of the Falklands Monument, Government House (official residence of the King's representative), Lady Elizabeth (Liz) shipwreck Learn about its history. Receive local recommendations on attractions, shops, pubs and restaurants.

    Enjoy sweeping Falklands landscapes as you travel between Stanley and Volunteer Point in your private 4x4. Roughly half the journey is on the road, with the rest offering authentic Falklands off-roading across private farmland and rugged terrain.
