  Cap Spartel

  Cape Spartel (Cap Spartel) is situated 14 kilometers west of Tangier, the far northwest coast of Africa on the northern Atlantic coast of Morocco. The Spartel Cape was built in 1864 by Sultan Muhammad III and is located about 1,000 feet above sea level at the entrance to the Strait of Gibraltar and it is consider a special place in Tangier because it connects with the Mediterranean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean and has wonderful views, next to the lighthouse, where you can go up and take pictures from.

  Caves of Hercules

  The cave has two openings, one to the sea and one to land. The sea opening is known as "The Map of Africa." It is believed that the Phoenicians created the sea opening, which is in the shape of Africa when looked at from the sea. There are also some markings on the wall in the shape of eyes, that are said to have been made by the Phoenicians, which make up a map of the local area.

  Achakkar Beach

  Enjoy a camel ride in Achakar beach and discover the area. The beach is located in about 20 kilometers from the center of Tangier, one of the most beautiful beaches in the city is located. Named "Achakar beach", it is located between Cap Spartel and the famous Hercules Caves. Although it is not very long, this beach is quite wide.

  The park is a refuge and a beautiful walk where many people from Tangier come to spend their Sunday, recharge and enjoy the pleasures of nature. The park is crisscrossed by small, shady paths where the delicate scents of eucalyptus, black pine and mimosa float. The water from the source that flows there is said to have therapeutic properties.
