During these two sections, you will have the chance to see some of the 94 mammal species, over 300 bird species, 9 amphibian species, and 33 reptile species recorded in Mole National Park. The large mammals commonly seen include elephants, kobs, roan antelopes, hartebeests, waterbucks, bushbucks, warthogs, several duikers, and baboons. Predators such as lions, leopards, spotted hyenas, caracals, aardvarks, genets, civets, and mongooses may also be spotted—baboons, birds, antelope, warthogs, monkeys, and the only elephants found in Ghana.
We will visit the Larabanga Mosque, where we will have a guided tour. The Larabanga Mosque is believed to be the oldest mosque in Ghana and West Africa. It is commonly referred to as the "Mecca of West Africa" due to its significant historical and architectural value. The dimensions of the mosque are approximately 8 meters by 8 meters. Additionally, the Larabanga Mosque has been included on the World Monuments Fund's List of 100 Most Endangered Sites.
