Visitors can see no.1 K-drama filming spot and experience the culture, history and life style of Korean people in Joseon dynasty. Also learn the different class of Joseon, nobleman, farmers, landowners, scholars, minors etc. You can enjoy the performances, beautiful fan dancing that the Korean ladies wear korean costumes and dance with big fan. It is nonverbal performance for all ages and nations can enjoy together. During the Joseon era, men and women stayed seperate during the day as they adopted confucianism.

    Suwon Hwaseong Fortress

    Hwaseong Fortress is considered as a masterpiece of Joseon architecture, it was registered on the UNESCO World Heritage list in 1997. Walk around the beautiful fortress wall and watch the archery performance. The fortress offers various performances daily as well as the Suwon Hwaseong Cultural Festival every fall. The walls stretch for 5,700 kilometers with Paldalsan Mountain at the center. The fortress was built as a display of King Jeongjo’s filial piety towards his father and to build a new pioneer city with its own economic power.

    Hwaseong Haenggung Palace

    Discover the history of the Suwon Hwaseong Fortress and the Hwaseong Haenggung Palace located inside. The Haenggung was used as the official building for Suwon governor. When the king visited the city, it was used as the royal residence. The king regularized the visit of his father's tomb from the 13rd year of his rule to 24th year, and, whenever he visited the tomb, he stayed at the Haenggung. Hwaseong Haenggung was superb and magnificent in its scale, structure and functions above all other haenggungs. This was listed by CNN as one of 50 must-visit places in Korea.
