What to expect

War Museum

we start our exploration of Siem Reap with a visit to the War Museum to reflect on Cambodian history under the brutal control of the Khmer Rouge. It is important to understand this dark chapter and how it has impacted still to this day on the Cambodian people.

City Exploration

We explore the city taking in Pub Street which is the main tourist entertainment area with many fine restaurants, markets and bars. It is also home to a variety of markets. Get a glimpse of the daily lives of the locals and the unique culture that blends new with traditional ways.

Markets

We head to the central markets which are home to a treasure trove of things waiting to be discovered and bargained for. Find that special gift for a friend, family member or just for you ! Close to the markets are many fine artisan and craft shops to also explore down the  streets and alleyways.

Artisans D'Angkor

We finish our Tour with a visit to Artisans Angkor which was developed from the ambitious belief that it is possible to revive ancient Khmer Arts & Crafts while improving the lives of thousands of people living in rural areas. Not only has Artisans Angkor become a company dedicated to the preservation of traditional Khmer skills in silk-making, stone and wood carving, lacquering and painting, but it is also an organization committed to promote the development of individuals and secure their future by the means of education and welfare.

Today, their 1300 employees are proud to show that Cambodian handicraft is still alive and more creative than ever. By developing high quality products that express the dynamism of the Khmer culture, Artisans Angkor strives to be a timeless showcase for Cambodian crafts with pieces inspired by Angkor heritage as well as fashionable handmade clothing and decorative items that can suit contemporary lifestyles.
