You can get a little more rest during the one and a half-hour journey to the Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial and State Museum after an early breakfast at the hotel. An educational tour will give you a greater understanding of this extraordinary site, where more than 1.1 million men, women, and children lost their lives. After early breakfast in hotel, around 8 a.m. in the morning, we will depart back for Germany.
On the way we will make stop to visit a stunning wooden Church of Peace in Swidnica. It was built using the half-timbered style, with a wooden framework that was then filled with clay and straw. It is Europe's largest wooden Baroque temple. It belongs to the Swidnica parish of the Polish Evangelical-Augsburg Church. The structure, which is one of the seven new marvels of Poland, has been listed on the UNESCO World Heritage List since 2001.
After visiting the Church of Peace we will drive further to Germany for a hotel drop-off in Berlin area around 6 p.m.
