You’ll start with simple ingredients — whole milk, salt and water — and learn how to transform them into tender, stretchy mozzarella using traditional cheese-making techniques. Chef Jesse walks you through heating, curd formation and the satisfying process of pulling and shaping fresh cheese.
Once your mozzarella is ready, turn it into a classic Italian dish. Slice ripe heirloom tomatoes, layer them with fresh basil and your handmade cheese, then finish the Caprese salad with extra virgin olive oil and balsamic glaze.
