2Groot Drakenstein Prison
The prison is famous for being the location where Nelson Mandela spent the last 14 months of his 27 years of political imprisonment fighting against apartheid. This is where Mandela took his first steps outside of the prison as a free man and the last stop of his iconic long walk to freedom. Travelers can take pictures with the lifetime statue of Nelson Mandela; the statue is a tribute to every person who made sacrifices in the fight for freedom.

3Fairview Wine and Cheese
The Fairview Tasting Room is one of the most popular Cape winelands destinations building on a reputation that stretched back to the 1970's.
