An experience that combines nature, trulli, and local food traditions in Alberobello. You ride with a local escort/guide who manages the route, stops, and full assistance. Join with your own ebike at no extra cost, or use an ebike provided on site with payment made locally (see the Inclusions/Exclusions section for prices). Visit a family-run flour mill and learn the full process from grain to flour. On request, you can add a cooking class to learn how to make orecchiette, with a tasting of your fresh pasta and a glass of wine; this option is paid locally (see Inclusions/Exclusions). Small-group shared tour, not private.
We meet inside the parking lot. I'll be there waiting for you with electric bikes.
Start in Alberobello and ride through the historic center, stopping at the best panoramic viewpoints to see the trulli and hear local curiosities and legends.
Cycle along quiet country roads lined with dry-stone walls, vineyards, and wheat fields, skirting the Bosco Selva area.
Visit the mill with the machinery running and learn every step from grain to flour. Recognize different flours by sight and touch. Then enjoy a hands-on lesson with the miller family to make orecchiette by hand, followed by a tasting of your fresh pasta with a glass of wine.
Return by ebike through trulli, vineyards, olive groves, and oak trees, with a short stop at an abandoned trullo for photos and local curiosities about Puglia. Then head back to the starting point.
