Swim through striking blue river pools surrounded by towering limestone formations and explore dramatic rock landscapes carved by nature over thousands of years.
For those seeking extra adrenaline, optional cliff jumps offer the chance to leap into refreshing waters below. Prefer something more relaxed? Simply swim, enjoy the scenery, and take in the beauty of this incredible natural setting.
The adventure continues with a visit to the impressive Arenales caves, where stunning stalactites and stalagmites create a breathtaking underground landscape. Nearby, a natural waterfall provides the perfect spot to pause and capture unforgettable photos.
Guests may also request an optional stop at a traditional Puerto Rican restaurant after the adventure (food not included).

Unlike many other tours in the same area, we operate at strategic hours to avoid — giving you more time to actually enjoy Charco Azul.
You’ll connect directly with your guide, move efficiently through each spot, and make the most of every moment.
[Step 1]: You can choose between one of our two options: From 7:00 am to 12:00 pm or from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm, whichever is more convenient for you.
[Step 2]: You will be picked up at your preferred hotel, resort, residence, Airbnb at Isla Verde, San Juan, Condado or Dorado.
[Step 3]: Your guide will contact you the day before the activity in the evening around 7:30 pm via text message to provide you with your pick-up time and you must sign a digital waiver before starting the tour.
[Step 4]: Before your pick up, please be sure to put on your bathing suit, sneakers with good grip and bring your towel and an extra set of clothes with you to dry off and change after your tour.
Note: NO Yeezys slides, Crocs, sandals or water shoes allowed (too slippery for this hiking).
[Step 5]: Please make sure you are ready to board the vehicle at the pickup time set by your guide. Drivers will wait no longer than 10 minutes after the scheduled pickup time. Our tour guide will text or call you when arrived at your location.
Important: Our activity is designed for people between 10 and 60 years old with excellent physical condition. You have to be able to walk by your own in uneven surfaces.
For safety reasons, people who are overweight, have previous injuries, are pregnant, or have health problems are not allowed to participate.
Evidence of age via license or birth certificate will be required to ensure compliance with these requirements.
Furthermore, no exceptions or refunds will be made to those who fail to comply with these conditions.

To begin our amazing adventure our guide will pick you up at your preferred hotel, resort, residence or airbnb in San Juan, Isla Verde, Condado and Dorado. The schedule will be from 7:00 am to 12:00 pm or from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Both schedules have been strategically chosen to beat the crowds created by the large groups of other companies to make it more comfortable and safer for you.

2Charco Azul Canyon
Your adventure begins as we arrive at Charco Azul and step into one of Puerto Rico’s most iconic natural formations. We enter the river and swim through crystal-clear blue pools, navigating around towering limestone walls sculpted over thousands of years. As we move deeper into the canyon, dramatic rock formations surround you while the water reflects vibrant shades of turquoise and emerald. This is where sightseeing turns into full immersion. For those seeking an extra rush, we reach the cliff jumping area. Adventurous guests may leap into the refreshing river below, always optional and guided. Whether you jump or simply take in the view, the energy here is unforgettable. We then transition to the Arenales cave system, where striking stalactites and floating rocks create an almost other-worldly atmosphere. Our journey concludes at a beautiful natural waterfall, the perfect place to pause, capture photos, and absorb the scale and power of this extraordinary landscape.

3Vega Baja
Optional Puerto Rican Culinary Stop: To complete the experience, guests may choose to add an optional stop at a local Puerto Rican restaurant known for its authentic criollo cuisine. This is an opportunity to enjoy traditional island flavors, from freshly prepared mofongo and arroz con gandules to slow-cooked meats and classic local specialties. The restaurant setting allows you to unwind, reflect on the adventure, and experience Puerto Rico beyond the river. This stop is entirely optional and can be arranged upon request. Please note: Food and beverages are not included in the tour price and are at the guest’s own expense.

- Participants must be physically capable of walking thru steep, rocky, muddy and uneven surfaces without assistance.
- This tour operates based weather and river conditions. In the event of poor weather, you will be offered an option to reschedule or refund.
- Use of lifejacket and helmet is mandatory.
- Tours Hacker reserves the right of admission - If a person appears to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs, not following instructions, causing disruptions, or providing false information, such as lying about their age, the guide has the right to cancel their reservation at any moment. - Personal Belongings Policy for the Excursion: At our Excursion, the safety and experience of our guests are our top priorities. Due to the nature of the activity—which involves hiking, water contact, and constant movement in a natural environment—we strongly recommend that participants do not bring any personal belongings unless absolutely necessary. While we do allow the use of prescription glasses for those who need them for vision, all other personal items should be left in a secure location before the excursion.
- Liability Waiver: Our company is NOT responsible for the loss, damage, or misplacement of any personal belongings during the excursion. We understand that the nature of the tour involves activities that may increase the risk of losing items, such as walking on uneven terrain, swimming in the river, sliding on rocks, and jumping into the water. If a participant chooses to bring personal items, they do so at their own risk. We will not be able to stop the excursion to search for lost items in the forest or river. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in ensuring that everyone enjoys a worry-free experience.
