Your tour to Houtbay leaves Cape Town and follows the drive along the Atlantic Seaboard, nestled between majestic mountain peaks and the rugged shoreline. Upon arrival in Houtbay Harbor, we board a glass-bottom vessel and take a boat trip to the local seal colony, where seals lie basking in the sun or frolic in the waves. Arriving back at the harbor there is more to explore and time will be allocated to having lunch before taking a drive to the viewing area on Chapmans Peak. The view is breathtaking and the perfect way to finish off an exciting day out in the fairest cape. All of our tours include a complimentary photography service. Pictures of your adventure will be messaged/emailed to you the evening after your tour.

1Table Mountain
The tour starts from Cape Town and winds over Kloof Nek at the bottom of Table Mountain. From there it follows the road to Hout Bay between the mountain and Table Bay. On a clear day, travelers will see Robben Island and take in the awesome scenes provided by the Atlantic Ocean meeting the Table Mountain Range.

Entering the seaside resort town of Houtbay through the mountains the traveler is greeted by vistas of the town, the surrounding mountains, and the bay that has made Hout Bay famous.

Hout Bay beach with its pristine white sand stretches from the harbor to the foot of the cliffs of Chapmans Peak.

Once a bustling fishing port with fleets of vessels feeding a number of processing factories, Hout Bay Harbor has been transformed into a tourist destination and a mecca for sport fishing vessels. It is from here that our tour boards a tour boat and puts it to sea for a short trip to Seal Island where travelers can view Cape Fur Seals in their natural habitat. Upon return we spend some more time exploring the harbor and time is allocated for lunch.

5Chapman's Peak Drive
Leaving Hout Bay Harbor we turn toward the iconic Chapmans Peak Drive and drive to the lookout point before the toll plaza.

Our tour ends as we leave the Hout Bay Valley via Constantia Neck and we join the M3 highway back to Cape Town.

Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden (Pass by)
On the way back to Cape Town we pass the world-famous Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens at the eastern foot of Table Mountain.
