1Tsavo National Park East
Your safari begins with an early morning pick-up from your hotel in Mombasa or Diani followed by a scenic drive to Tsavo East National Park, one of Kenya's largest and oldest national parks. Arrive at Voi wildlife lodge in time for lunch before setting out on an afternoon game drive. Drive through the park's vast open plains in search of Tsavo's famous red elephants, lions, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, leopards, and a variety of antelope species. Visit Aruba Dam, a popular wildlife viewing spot where animals gather to drink, offering excellent opportunities for photography and game viewing. Tsavo East is also renowned for its rich birdlife, with over 500 recorded species, and for the legendary "Man-Eaters of Tsavo," whose fascinating history is closely linked to the construction of the Kenya-Uganda railway. After your game drive, return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay surrounded by the sounds of the African wilderness.

Aruba Dam is one of the best wildlife viewing spots in Tsavo East National Park. Built across the seasonal Voi River, it provides a reliable water source that attracts elephants, buffaloes, zebras, antelopes, and many bird species throughout the day. During dry periods, it becomes a popular gathering point for wildlife, making it an excellent location for game viewing and photography.

3Tsavo National Park West
Enjoy an early morning game drive as the park comes to life, offering another chance to spot predators, elephants, giraffes, and other wildlife before breakfast. Afterwards, depart for Tsavo West National Park, where rugged volcanic landscapes replace the open plains of Tsavo East. Arrive at Ngulia Safari Lodge in time for lunch before heading out on an afternoon game drive. Walk across the dramatic Shetani Lava Flow, a vast expanse of black volcanic rock, and learn about its fascinating geological history and local legends. Continue to the crystal-clear Mzima Springs, where you can view hippos, Nile crocodiles, and fish from the unique underwater viewing chamber while enjoying the lush surroundings and abundant birdlife. Round off the day with a game drive in search of lions, leopards, buffaloes, rhinos, and other wildlife before returning to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

4Mzima Springs
Here, millions of litres of crystal-clear water flow from underground each day, creating a lush oasis in the heart of Tsavo. Walk along the shaded nature trail to viewing platforms where you may spot hippos, crocodiles, fish, and a variety of birds in the clear waters, while your guide shares the importance of the springs to Tsavo's wildlife and surrounding communities.

5Shetani Lava Flows
Walk across the striking black lava fields of Shetani Lava Flow, created by volcanic activity hundreds of years ago. Your guide will share the local legends behind its name and explain how the molten rock shaped this unique landscape. It's a great place to stop, stretch your legs, take photographs, and appreciate a side of Tsavo that contrasts with its wildlife this dramatic lava field offers visitors the opportunity to walk across its rugged surface while taking in panoramic views of the surrounding wilderness. 6Tsavo National Park West
Enjoy an early morning breakfast before checking out of your lodge, then, set off on a final game drive through Tsavo West National Park, offering one last opportunity to spot elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, and, if you're lucky, big cats as the park awakens. Exit the park and begin your scenic journey back to the Kenyan coast, with drop-offs at your hotel or resort in Mombasa or Diani . Arrive at your beach destination in the afternoon, marking the end of your Tsavo safari with unforgettable memories of Kenya's iconic wildlife and landscapes.
