Welcome to Bamberg, the magical city on the Regnitz! Immerse yourself in the beauty and history of this UNESCO World Heritage city. Stroll through the winding streets of the old town, discover the picturesque Little Venice with its half-timbered houses and idyllic boats. Marvel at the imposing Bamberg Cathedral, a masterpiece of Romanesque architecture. Enjoy a cool smoked beer in the legendary Schlenkerla. If Franconia is proud of one thing, it is its beer, and Bamberg is certainly the beer capital of Franconia. The "smoked beer" stands out in particular. Opinions differ on the taste, but it is definitely worth a try.
