Stand Up Paddleboarding (or SUP as it is widely know) in Bude is a fantastic and fast growing sport to hit the water in the UK.

The large surfboard style paddleboard creates a stable platform for you to stand on and the extra long canoe paddle makes it easy for you to motor around in only a few minutes.

Stand Up Paddleboarding is less challenging than surfing which makes it an even more accessible for your family, friends and great as a large group activity.

Meeting point

Please meet at the Freewave Surf Academy SUP trailer in the Crescent (Overflow) Carpark. This is located behind the Bude Tourist Information Centre.

End point
This activity ends back at the meeting point.

What to expect

Get kitted up with a suitably sized inflatable paddleboard and extendable paddle. Listen carefully to the instruction and you may not get wet… however you can get fitted with a wetsuit just incase!

When you are on the water you will learn to how manoeuvre the board on your knees before getting up on your feet and explore the waterways looking like a pro!
