Today you arrive in Hanoi, Vietnam’s bustling 1000-year-old colonial capital. Welcome by your local tour guide at the airport and briefing about the holiday journey on the bus to Hanoi city. After checking in your room at Hotel, enjoy your free time, refresh yourself and relax. You might want to spend some time on your own to wander around this beautifully romantic and bustling city in Old Quarter Area to observe the real life of locals.
Today you will explore Vietnam’s charming capital. With its wide tree-lined boulevards, French colonial architecture, peaceful lakes, and ancient oriental pagodas, Hanoi is an eclectic mix that offers something for everyone. Your city tour will take you to Hanoi’s key sites: the Ho Chi Minh Complex (Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum and stilt house), the nearby One Pillar Pagoda; the Presidential Palace; the Temple of Literature; the Quan Thanh Temple, the sedate Tran Quoc Pagoda & West Lake; and one of the city’s museums (a choice between the History Museum and the Ethnology Museum). In the late afternoon, you will hop on a cyclo, one of the most typical vehicles in Hanoi which is a human-powered transport with a seat at the front for passengers and the driver at the back. Ending at the Water Puppet Theater to watch the Show about daily Vietnamese in the countryside. In the evening, transfer you to the train station to catch your night train to Sapa.
In the late morning, your guide will take you on a two-hour trek through the terraced rice fields to visit the villages Cat Cat and Sin Chai. Here we will learn about local traditions and daily life. The rest of the day is yours to wander around the town. You may want to check out the night market and the Stone Church.

After breakfast, we drive 2,5 hours to Halong bay the UNESCO World Heritage Site. The scenery of Halong Bay where thousands of limestone islands jut out of the emerald sea, sculpted into bizarre shapes is truly an iconic image for Vietnam. On arrival at the jetty in Halong City around noon, proceeding with check-in formalities. After In the afternoon, the program also includes more activities such as swimming or kayaking (excluded from the cruise package) or cave visits on the vast sea, cooking class onboard to challenge your skills in preparing a very famous Vietnamese dish (depending on each boat’s itinerary). Towards the end of the day, the boat sets anchor for the night among the karst formations. Overnight on Halong Bay. The sun rises on Halong in the morning and a light breakfast is served on board (also brunch on some boats) while cruising slowly back to the shore. This is the time you can take advantage of the sundeck and admire the amazing rock formations of the bay as you navigate back to Halong City.
Disembark and meet your driver at the dock and drive to Noi Bai Airport to catch your flight to Hue. Pick up by local guide & driver in Hue airport and transfer to hotel for your free time.
Today we’ll spend an entire day touring Vietnam’s former ancient capital with the Top Gear Tour. A motorbike tour is experienced sitting on the backside of a Motorbike where you can enjoy the peaceful Hue countryside with its local markets, conical hats, incense-making villages, an old tiger arena, and a romantic view of the hills down to the Perfume River. We’ll also see the Kings’ tombs, the Imperial Citadel, home to the Imperial City, and Forbidden Purple City. Following that, we will visit Thien Mu Pagoda. Special Information: The motorbike tour is a great adventure and showcases the countryside and real-life experiences in Vietnam. It’s a lot of fun and highly recommended! The motorbike tour has been assessed for safety and closely monitored. Please ensure that your travel insurance covers riding a pillion on a motorbike up to 125cc. After breakfast, we drive to soak in some of Vietnam’s most stunning scenery along the Hai Van Pass on the drive to Hoi An ancient town. After lunch, take a couple of hours walking tour through the narrow winding streets of the ancient town center, visiting Chua Ong Pagoda, the Chinese Assembly Hall, the 200-year-old Tan Ky ancestral house, and the famous Japanese Bridge. Free evening to explore the ancient town, try some local foods and enjoy the colorful lanterns or meet your talented tailor for customized suits within 24 hours! What an amazing service in Hoian. In the morning, we dress up to be ready for the Easy Rider tour, we cycle from the hotel to the peaceful Countryside in Hoian with local men, visit vegetable villages, farms as locals, talk with people working on farm, continuing biking to see buffalo, local animals, duck farm, then visiting the Coconut farm with round bamboo basket boat, lots of fun. After that, we keep cycling further to the local area, stop to take a river cruise, enjoy fresh fruit and great scenery along the way back to the Ancient town. After breakfast, we drive to discover the incredible network of underground tunnels at Cu Chi tunnels of the Viet Cong’s strategy to victory in the Vietnam War. Used to call tunnels rats and headquarter of VC to attack Saigon during Tet offensive 1968. Traveling that you not only see the world but also learn more about the world. In the afternoon, back to the city to explore Saigon on a walking tour taking in the city’s most impressive sites and landmarks including the War Remnants museum, Independent palace, or Reunification Palace-Head quarter of the South Republic of Vietnam during wartime. Wondering around the French quarter with Notre Dame Cathedral and the Old Post Office, Opera house, and Ben Thanh market.
From Saigon, we travel south to the Mekong Delta, enjoy the great scenery of the beautiful peaceful countryside, and explore tributaries in your private boat. Start with a visit to the local market then get an insight into the main local industries of the area as you visit a tropical fruit garden with traditional music, a local workshop to see how to make rice paper, coconut, and pop-rice along with beautiful coconut canals, motor carts with lots of fun… Later on experience leisure biking/ walking on village paths to see the local daily life: orchard, school, church, pagoda, traditional houses.
Grab an early breakfast at the hotel before we leave to visit the famous Cai Rang floating market by motorized boat. We’ll continue the boat ride to visit the Mekong Delta’s famous fruit orchards and sample the fresh, exotic fruit then venture deeper into the countryside, passing traditional houses made of wood and palm leaves. Here we have the chance to observe the activities of the local people as we visit a local family to see how to make noodles and rice paper used in the making of fresh spring rolls!
When we’re done we’ll pick up our things at the hotel and then drive back to Saigon where you’ll have the rest of the day to discover the wonders of this metropolitan city.
