This night rider's dream is for you who are not afraid of the dark or enjoy riding in the moonlight. A wet forest in autumn or a snowy landscape in winter makes the imagination run wild. The silent fairytale forest at night hides stories that you cannot see or hear in daylight. Forest animals are not afraid of horses, so we can encounter in the dark with moose, foxes or hares. Maybe you'll meet Santa's reindeer?
We ride through the Lappish forest and at the end of the trip we enjoy a warm juice and a small evening snack by the campfire.
What's Included
Meeting and pickup
Aurora Horses Farm is located in Santa Claus Village, Arctic Circle, Rovaniemi. Please arrive at the Farm 10 minutes before the scheduled start time. You'll find us easily using Google Maps and "Aurora Horses Napapiiri". If you have trouble finding your way , please contact us immediately.
What to expect
First, we will go through a 15 minute safety issues and get to know our horses. You can borrow a helmet from us. The activity includes a 40-minute horseback riding tour in the Lappish forest. And lastly, a 30 minute story about a Finnhorse and with hot juice and a small evening snack by the campfire.
