Our Paella and Burnt Basque cheesecake class isn’t a demo, it’s a true hands-on experience. Every participant cooks every dish: the starters, the different types of paella, and even the iconic Burnt Basque Cheesecake from scratch. No spectators, no shortcuts.
We keep our groups small (maximum 12 people) so your host can guide you properly, answer questions, and make sure you actually learn the techniques, not just watch them.
The class takes place in our professional cooking school in downtown Bilbao, just across the river from the Guggenheim — an unbeatable location that’s easy to reach from any hotel.
And of course, the experience ends the best way possible: sitting down together in a private dining room to enjoy everything you’ve cooked, paired with 3 glasses of local wine or non-alcoholic options.
It’s an authentic, personal and truly flavour-packed way to discover Basque and Spanish cuisine.

Burnt Basque Cheesecake
Basque Cheesecake is a crustless, ultra-creamy cheesecake baked at a high temperature to create its iconic caramelised top.
The meeting point is our venue, gazing across the river toward the iconic Guggenheim Museum. We’re just a short walk from all the downtown hotels, so it’s a perfectly placed starting point for your visit.
