An independent three-day tour departing Wellington with two nights staying at a 4 – 4.5-star accommodation in Rotorua prior to your tour concluding in Auckland on day 3. The tour includes stopping at the national army museum at waiouru visiting huka falls then a full day in Rotorua with a guided tour of Te Puia. On day three the tour travels to Auckland via Waitomo where you will experience a guided tour of the glowworm caves.
We leave Wellington at 7am travelling north along transmission gully arriving at the US Memorial 40 minutes after leaving the city where you will learn the history of the time they stayed between Between 1942 and 1944 you would have been forgiven for thinking Queen Elizabeth Park had been taken over by Americans, because we had! After we leave, we then travel north towards the center of the north island stopping for a guided tour of the museum This will also be a lunch break time to waioiru is 2 and half hrs.
after lunch we continue to travel north for approx. 1.5 hours arriving at the huka falls where you will be able to experience the rushing water as it flows toward lake Taupo
We then climb on board again travelling to Rotorua about a hr. away arriving at our accommodation where you are free to relax for the night
Visit Te Puia and experience Rotorua’s famous Māori culture and geothermal activity with a tour of the neighboring Whakarewarewa Thermal Valley – a place where mud pools bubble and boil and geysers shoot steam high into the air. The tour concludes early afternoon with the remainder of the day at leisure.
we then Travel from Rotorua to Auckland by road, via the Waitomo Glowworm Caves, which is a 2-hour drive from Rotorua you then get a guided tour of the caves by boat through the glowworm grotto is included. Arriving in Auckland early evening where you will be transferred to your central city accommodation, at which time your tour will conclude.
