You will learn Moroccan cuisine in traditional Fesi way with local host. As part of the experience, you will visit local souk in old medina and buy fresh ingredients directly from there. Recipes are provided after the class so that you can cook the same in you home, able to share Moroccan taste with family and friends.

Our guest house Dar Sunrise Fes is in the alley next to Cafe Barcelona in medina main street Talaa Kebira with house number 10. Actual location can be search on google map.

What to expect

First of all, sit down and start with a glass of Morocco mint tea. We discuss together about what Moroccan dishes to cook and learn. There is a variety of appetizer, salad and tagine in Morocco cuisine to choose within, even though you are vegetarian. I will give you ideas and suggestions for sure.

After that, I will go with you to bring all ingredients from the market in which just 3 minutes walk from my house. It's time for you to experience shopping in local food market as a Moroccan too. I will teach you to how to cook each dish step by step and answer all the questions you have. Please feel free to take photos or videos during the class. Meanwhile, enjoy cooking and cooking with heart are the most important elements to make delicious food.

I'm sure you will smile from bottom of heart and feel proud of your dishes. Sit down and relax to taste our food. I'm open to my guests anytime if they have questions about cooking. Don't hesitate to contact me after you left Morocco. I'm always your cooking teacher in Fez!

Cooking class is held in lunch and dinner time. Length of class is basically 4 hours, may extend due to the complexity of chosen dishes.
