What to expect
What you will do during the activity:
1. Theoretical session:
You will begin with a brief but comprehensive introduction to diving techniques and equipment, including mask, fins, regulator and variable attitude vest (GAV). You will also learn manual signals to communicate underwater and essential safety rules.
2. Practice in confined waters:
You will dive into a calm and protected pool or bay to familiarize yourself with the basics of underwater breathing. With the support of your instructor, you will quickly gain confidence by learning to control buoyancy and perform simple safety exercises, such as retrieving the regulator and emptying the mask.
3. Open water diving:
When you feel ready, you will experience the thrill of a real guided dive in the sea, up to a maximum depth of 12 meters. Here, under the careful supervision of your instructor, you will explore the fascinating underwater world, discovering marine flora and fauna in a natural and engaging environment.
