We will walk in a unique landscape among the agaves, breathing the pure air of an environment that safeguards the legacy of an ancient civilization between pre-Hispanic obsidian workshops and their mines, a treasure hidden in the foothills of the volcano of Tequila.

Join us to explore the world-unique agavero landscape, a place where history and nature merge. We will visit the museum, the Guachimontones archaeological site and enjoy a refreshing walk on the river. Sample pre-Hispanic drinks and relive the essence of a millennial culture.

Note: The hike in the agavero landscape takes 1: 30 hours on average, not recommended for people with mobility problems."

    Walk among the Agavero landscape and visit to the pre-Hispanic mines of obsidian

    Zona Arqueologica Teuchitlan o Guachimontones

    We will drive 1.20 hours to reach Teuchitlan Jalisco which was the capital of one of the ancient Mesoamerican empires. Here we will visit the Guachimontones archaeological zone that brings a unique style to the world repertoire of archaeology and that was named by UNESCO CULTURAL HERITAGE OF HUMANITY, we will also visit the interpretive museum to learn in a graphic way and where we will explain customs and traditions, at the end we will visit an obsidian workshop.

    Teuchitlan

    Walk to the banks of the Teuchitlan River and its spring water, place of endemic fish, floating gardens (fossil Chinampas) in addition to being a recreation place for locals, stop to taste pre-Hispanic drinks, finally we will make a stop in main square for photos and purchase of snacks. In addition, we will visit an obsidian workshop and taste pre-Hispanic beverages.
