This activity is actually the only workshop for tea production in the Highlands. It features the visit of a tea factory and the visit of Nandi Hills, a unique region, and allows you to follow the process of making tea for one day, from harvesting, weighting, transporting, transforming, and tasting.
What's Included
Meeting and pickup
The pick-up point is The Swiss Side Shop, located along the main road in Lily's area. A side post indicating "The Swiss Side" is displayed along the road on the right side when you walk in the direction of Iten town.
What to expect
Back at the cottage for lunch, you then visit one of the 19 tea factories in Nandi County. You discover the process of production of the tea leaves into a finished product. The day ends with a tea tasting.
