‘Kathmandu-Bhaktapur-Nagarkot Tour‘ package is a multi-day tour package that begins from exploring the historical civilization of Kathmandu. During your tour you will be visiting many of UNESCO World Heritage Sites including Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swayambhunath Temple, Pashupatinath Temple, and Boudhanath among others.
During your trip you will be also exploring the historical Patan Durbar Square, Bhaktapur Durbar Square, Changunarayan Temple and Nagarkot Hills. While in Nagarkot you are for a spectacular view of Sunrise and Sunsets with surrounding mountains.

On the first day of your trip, you will be arriving in Kathmandu via Tribhuvan International Airport. A Cordial Trek representative will greet and pick you up from the airport. You will then check into a hotel in Thamel and be briefed about your upcoming tour and get introduced to your guide. For those travelers already in Kathmandu will be transferred to a hotel in Thamel to join the trip.
Kathmandu Durbar Square is a historically and culturally significant site in Kathmandu. It is one of the three Durbar (royal palace) Squares in the Kathmandu Valley in Nepal that are UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
Swayambhunath is an ancient religious complex atop a hill (towards west) in the Kathmandu Valley. It is one of the most sacred among Buddhist pilgrimage sites.
Pashupatinath Temple is one of the most sacred Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. It is located in Kathmandu, Nepal on the banks of holy river Bagmati.
Boudhanath is a stupa (built c. fifth century) located on the edge of the city of Kathmandu, Nepal. Its massive mandala makes it one of the largest spherical stupas in Nepal and the world.
Patan Durbar Square is situated at the center of the city of Lalitpur in Nepal. It is one of the three Durbar Squares in the Kathmandu Valley, all of which are UNESCO World Heritage Sites. One of its attractions is the medieval royal palace where the Malla Kings of Lalitpur resided.
During your tour inside Bhaktapur Durbar Square, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, you will visit other four mini Durbar Squares within. Dattatreya Square is the oldest square among the four. Another square known as ‘Pottery Square’ is famous for its name as the place is occupied by the potters mostly and a view of the live pottery is a sight to the sore eyes. You will then visit the Nyatapola Temple, the tallest five storied temple all over Nepal Another main attraction inside the Durbar Square is 55 Window Palace, a masterpiece of awesome wood architecture and art made by then King Bhupatindra Malla in 1708 A.D.
Nagarkot, a municipality at an elevation of 2195 meters, is considered one of the popular scenic spots inside Kathmandu Valley. Situated 28 km apart from Kathmandu, it is mostly famous for its sunrise with a panoramic view of the Himalayas including Mount Everest. Nagarkot commands one of the broadest views of the Himalayas in Kathmandu valley (8 Himalayan Ranges of Nepal out of 13). The ranges include Annapurna Range, Manaslu Range, Ganesh Himal Range, Langtang Range, Jugal Range, Rolwaling Range, Mahalangur Range (Everest Range) and Numbur Range. Situated in a strategic location, Nagarkot was an ancient fort of the Kathmandu valley built to monitor the external activities of other kingdoms. Later, it became a summer retreat for the royal family before becoming a popular hill station.
You begin your day four with a mesmerizing view of the sunrise from Nagarkot. You will then take a three hours hike down to Changunarayan Temple after your morning breakfast. Here you will be enjoying green forests and local villages on your way to the temple. The temple of Lord Vishnu alongside its surrounding monuments were built by Haridatta Barma c. 325 AD. Optional: You may choose the vehicle option (no extra cost) if you want to skip the hiking experience.
After the successful completion of your trip you will take a short (one hour) drive back to your hotel in Kathmandu.
On day five you will be bidded a final farewell. We will then drop you back to the airport three hours before your final departure.
