Visit the many historical buildings and temples such as Wat Chayamangkalaram Temple, Dhammikarama Burmese Temple. After that, take a scenic drive through the streets of George Town - UNESCO World Heritage Site and witness the remnant left by the British and local dwellers of the past.

After that visit Penang Hill (Fast Lane), Kek Lok Si, Batu Feringghi Beach and also Botanical Garden.

    Your tour begins with pickup from your hotel or cruise terminal at Georgetown on time for a 9am departure. Meet and greets our friendly driver at the lobby and proceeds for your tour.

    Chaiya Mangalaram Thai Buddhist Temple

    Firstly you will visit Wat Chayamangkalaram Temple where the 4th longest Reclining Buddha Statue is found

    Dhammikarama Burmese Temple

    Right across the road you may also visit the Dhammikarama Burmese Temple which holds a Buddha statue standing at 8.2 meters, making it the tallest in Malaysia. The existence of these two temples is due to the early settlement of the Thai and Burmese community in the early 1800s.

    Penang Hill

    You will visit Penang Hill where you will ride a funicular train to its peak at 833m above sea level to enjoy a spectacular panoramic view of Georgetown and mainland Butterworth. Colonial bungalows can be found around this hill due to the British preferring to stay in a cooler climate compared to the hot and humid environment in the city.

    Kek Lok Si Temple

    After that, you will visit Kek Lok Si Temple. Built in 1891 as a small shrine, it has since expanded to become one of the most majestic and largest temples in South-East Asia. Since its founding in 1930, the “Pagoda of Ten Thousand Buddhas” is considered one of Penang’s most beautiful architectural wonders as it is able to incorporate 3 cultures into one structure – Chinese octagonal base, Thai middle tier and Burmese Crown. A 30.2m Guan Yin – Goddess of Mercy bronze statue was erected in 2002 on the highest point of the temple. It can be reached via an Inclined lift at the middle.

    Then make a visit to Penang Botanical Garden Penang Botanical Garden (Entrance fee own expense)  The Penang Botanic Gardens, also known as the "Waterfall Gardens" because of the cascading waterfall nearby, is a public park situated on Jalan Air Terjun in George Town, Penang.The original gardens were established in 1884 from an old quarry site, under the supervision of Charles Curtis, who was the first superintendent.

    Then make a visit to Batu Ferringhi Beach Batu Ferringhi Beach Batu Ferringhi is a beach resort northwest of George Town, on Malaysia’s Penang Island. It’s known for water sports and seafood restaurants. Street food, household goods and batik clothing are sold at the seafront night market. Batik pieces are also on display at local galleries and shops.  End of the tour return to your hotel or cruise terminal.
