Penang Peranakan Mansion This old mansion, former home of Kapitan Chung Keng Kwee, showcases over 1000 antiques and collectibles depicting the life of the Straits Chinese or Peranakan culture found in Malaysia, particularly the Penang Peranakan. The richly decorated mansion is also a popular filming location for movies and television series. A guided tour will be in store to explains the different functions of the different parts of the mansion and provide you with an insight of this unique culture.
Khoo Kongsi Temple. Completed around 1906, the temple belongs to the Khoo Kongsi clan. The temple features fine Chinese architecture and crasftsmanship
Then make a visit to Fort Cornwallis which is the largest standing fort in Malaysia. Fort Cornwallis is a star shaped fort that was named after the then Governor-General of Bengal, Marquis Charles Cornwallis. Approximately 10 feet high, Fort Cornwallis, Penang or Fort Cornwallis Pulau Pinang is located close to the Esplanade, next to the Victoria Memorial Clock. End of the tour return to your hotel or cruise terminal in an air-conditioned vehicle.
