Amid the hawker stalls and seafood eateries of Jalan Alor, let your guide select dim sum and satay, Malaysia’s answer to kebabs. Visit a “mamak”—Malaysian-Indian eatery—for paper-thin “thosai” pancakes served with Indian sauces. Wash everything down with a foaming glass of “teh tarik” milk tea before you bid your guide farewell after drop off at your hotel or original meeting point.
