We bring you to the traditional malaysian village at Ampang district for Traditional Malaysian Dance Class. Zapin: A traditional Malay dance from Johor, Pahang, and Selangor, blending Islamic teachings with graceful movements. It is performed to the music of instruments like Rebana, Marwas, Rebab, Gambus, and accordion, with varying styles and steps. Joget: A lively Malaysian dance, often seen at cultural events and weddings. Performed by couples with playful, teasing movements, it emphasizes rhythmic hand and foot motions without physical contact. Mak Inang: A graceful dance originally performed for Malaysian royalty, now common at weddings. Dancers use long scarves as props, with men wearing Baju Melayu and women dressed in Baju Kurung, Kebaya, and traditional accessories.
