The place features the Bedouin lifestyle with a dash of the campfire, traditional tents made of goat's hair, coffee and display of the Falaj irrigation system, that are employed in regions of the UAE for the irrigation of their palm groves. The museum at the Heritage Village reflects Emirati traditions with authentic jewellery, weapons of the early era and historic tents. One can also have a look at the copies of the handwritten Quran that is on display. The Heritage Village even holds workshops with men and women demonstrating skills such as weaving, spinning, metalwork, and pottery. The craftsmen share their skills with visitors, and occasionally offer them a chance to try them out.
