After many years of research and restoration, Ichkabal has recently opened to the public, offering a unique opportunity to explore a sacred site untouched by mass tourism. The journey begins at Ichkabal, where we walk among ancient temples and plazas surrounded by lush jungle. During the hike, it’s common to spot monkeys, foxes, and colorful tropical birds that inhabit this area. This is not only a visit to an archaeological site — it’s a step back in time to experience the magic, mystery, and nature of the Mayan world.

After exploring Ichkabal, we continue your adventure toward a local farm hidden in the heart of the Mayan jungle. There, Guadalupe welcomes us with delicious Mexican snacks and refreshing local drinks. The farm is full of fruit trees — pineapple, coconut, coffee, dragon fruit, lime, guanábana, and many more tropical varieties. Here we take a break to enjoy traditional food, fresh drinks, and the peaceful nature that surrounds us. As we walk around the property, we learn about the local trees and plants that have been part of Mayan life for centuries. It’s a perfect moment to relax, connect with nature, and experience the authentic flavor of the jungle.
