Here you’ll also see the Grand Hotel Palazzo, a historic villa that once hosted Queen Margherita of Savoy, scientist Guglielmo Marconi, composer Pietro Mascagni, and other notable figures from Italy’s religious, sporting, and political worlds. You’ll also discover the city’s famous seaside bathing establishments, known as “bagni” — an iconic feature of Livorno’s coastline, found only along our beautiful stretch of the Tuscan shore.

    The cliff that made Livorno famous around the world… and the road featured in the iconic film “Il Sorpasso.” Here you’ll also find several historic villas, such as Castel Sonnino, and ancient watchtowers like the Torre di Calafuria.
