What to expect

Overview
Learn how to cook authentic Spanish paella during a hands-on cooking class on a Barcelona rooftop. This small-group experience combines cooking, local culture, and relaxed dining for a truly memorable food experience.

What to Expect
Begin by preparing homemade sangria or vermouth together to set a relaxed, social atmosphere. Your local host will then introduce the origins of paella, its regional traditions, and the key ingredients used.

Next, take part in every step of cooking a traditional seafood paella from scratch. You’ll prepare the sofrito, broth, and rice while learning practical techniques you can easily recreate at home. This is a fully hands-on class — not a demonstration.

As the paella cooks, enjoy your drink, chat with the group, and take in the rooftop setting. Once ready, sit down together to enjoy the paella you prepared, accompanied by bread, olives, and fresh fruit.
