    Mendoza - Full-Day High Andes with trekking to Durazno Gorge

    After breakfast, depart on a small-group guided tour to the Aconcagua Provincial Park, located 185 km or 115 miles away from the city of Mendoza. As the journey takes you along the emblematic route 7, you will begin to discover the beautiful mountains of Mendoza and its river. Not only will you enjoy the colourful transition of landscapes, but also some of the small villages that can be found along the way, such as Cacheuta, Potrerillos (and its water reservoir), Uspallata (a quaint little town) and Penitentes (a Sky Resort).

    You will also visit “The Inca’s Bridge”, known for its curious natural formation! As your journey continues, you will go through the three mountain ranges: Pre Andes, the Front range and the Main range.

    Parque Provincial Aconcagua

    Upon arrival to Aconcagua Provincial park in Horcones Valley, you will have the chance to go on a 2-hour hiking to Durazno Gorge or go on a short trail to an scenic lookout point (45 min). After enjoying some unique views of this natural environment framed by the majestic Aconcagua Mount you will start your journey back to Mendoza city. On the return drive, you will have time to have lunch in Uspallata (lunch is not included). You will return to your hotel in the late afternoon. Note: hiking difficulty is moderate

    Mendoza - Full-Day Visit to 3 wineries of Lujan de Cuyo or Maipu with lunch

    After breakfast, you will be picked up at your hotel and will head out to Lujan de Cuyo Region. Lujan de Cuyo is the Cradle of Malbec and it features beautiful country houses, tree-lined roads and wide vineyards. Led by insider guides, you will visit three world-class vineyards and wineries. At the vineyard, you will observe the grape vines and will learn how the best grapes are produced. As you walk around their facilities, visiting their wine cellars and aging rooms, you will learn about the different ways in which wine is produced. At the end of each visit, you will indulge your senses with a wine tasting. In addition to this, you will enjoy a gourmet lunch paired with the best wines of the region surrounded by a beautiful environment with the majestic Andes Range in the distance. You will return to your hotel in the afternoon.

    Mendoza - Sunset Horseback Riding with asado argentino

    In the afternoon, you will be picked up at your hotel and start the excursion towards the mountain with a fun small group of travellers. The view will change, the green groves will disappear and when everything is countryside we will find the place to start living this experience.

    In this horseback ride you will enjoy the best views of the Andes immersed in the heart of the mountain, just when the sun disappears behind the snow-capped mountains. An ideal excursion to leave the noise of the city behind and be part of Mendoza’s landscapes. The horses have the necessary equipment to be safe and to make the ride pleasant. The different types of saddles, the padded saddle pads and the leather reins are essential to control the equine’s gait and to feel the pleasure of getting to know every corner of the Andes at a calm pace. Once mounted, we will begin to enjoy the scenery. You don’t need to be an expert with the reins! Our specialized “baqueanos” will guide us through mountain trails and incredible places.

    At sunset, we will return to our starting point where we will enjoy an exquisite traditional “asado” (barbecue). There, the chef will be waiting for us with some local varietals (wines). We will be able to pair the real Argentinian meat with the best of Mendoza wine. And this will not be just another sunset, here we will be able to learn about the customs of our host gauchos and the local people combined with the magic hour of the sunset.
