Trek through forests of coihue and lenga trees while admiring the mesmerizing beauty of Lakes Moreno and Nahuel Huapi and the Andes Mountain Range. Such a challenging path! But being in one of the less-visited trails in Bariloche with one of the most wonderful panoramic views is worth it! Additionally, you will enjoy a boxed lunch on these wonderful surroundings. With hotel pick-up and drop-off included, all you need to bring is your sense of adventure!

Meeting and pickup
Pick-up from hotels in Bariloche is included. Pick-up time from your hotel will be at 07:30 or 08:00 a.m., depending on your choice. Ask for other pick-up times available. If your hotel is NOT listed, please provide your hotel name when booking in the “Special Requirements” box. If you are staying at an Airbnb, please let us know its name and address. You MUST give your phone number so that we can reach you if needed. Pick-up not included on hotels located in the outskirts of the city, such as those located at Dina Huapi or from Kilometer 12 on. In this case, the traveller must pay an extra cost.

San Carlos de Bariloche (Pass by)
Be prepared to explore the natural wonders of Bariloche from the Hills: At the appropriate time, we’ll pick you up from your hotel and drive you on a 40-minute journey towards the base of the “Cerro Bella Vista” or Bella Vista Hill in the area of "Colonia Suiza" where the trail begins.

Once at the beginning of the trail, the moment you were waiting for: Time to move your legs! From here, you’ll start a moderately - strenuous ascent through a lush forest of coihue and lenga trees up the hill, reaching the lookouts above the timberline. You’ll hike surrounded by magnificent panoramic views of Lakes Moreno and Nahuel Huapi and the Andes Mountain Range. Trekking on this amazing Patagonian forest, in total harmony with nature, is a breathtaking experience. By midday, we’ll share a time to relax at the summit, where you’ll enjoy a box lunch. **Some birds you might see: Magellanic Woodpeckers and Condors, among others.**Hiking total duration: 7 hours, including approximately 1 hour of lunchtime.

After lunch, you will start hiking downhill, back to the starting point and be driven back to your hotel in Bariloche. **Transportation duration will depend on the location of your hotel.** Trekking distance: 7,6km/4,7ml. Elevation gained: +890m/2.900ft. Type of terrain: steep trail with rocks
