Welcome to Ushuaia! Upon arrival, you will be met at the airport and have a private transfer to your hotel.
Today, you'll have the rest of the day free to do as you wish. Answer the call of vacations and take your time to relax at your hotel. Enjoy the resort's perfect location, surrounded by fantastic mountain views, take advantage of the hotel's facilities in perfect harmony with nature, and taste exquisite dishes and cocktails (not included).
In the morning, we will pick you up at your hotel to enjoy a full-day tour to Gable Island and a penguin rookery (shared service). First off, you will take part in an inflatable canoeing dokie adventure down the river towards the Beagle Channel, encountering lots of sea birds and regional wildlife that your camera will love to capture. On this tour you will discover one of the roughest and most beautiful places in the Beagle Channel! (If you are lucky and watch carefully you may even spot sea lions!)
Continuing your tour, jump aboard a motorboat towards Martillo Island and enjoy the beautiful experience of observing penguins in their breeding lair from your boat.
Once in Gable Island, you will enjoy a delicious lunch before adventuring into this gorgeous island, crossing over the remains left behind by the Yamana civilization and by the first settlers. This area shows an infinite and primal landscape, both magic and extreme, surrounded by the enigmatic sound and silence of nature. At the end of the day, we will take you back to your hotel. Note: If you don't enjoy canoeing that much, you may opt for a visit to the Harberton Ranch and the Mammal Museum instead, but please, let us know in advance when booking so that we can reserve your spot.**Duration: 10-11 hours **Medium difficulty: No experience or swimming skills required.
Today, we will pick you up at your hotel to go on a private tour to the “End of the World’s” National Park! (Entrance fee included)
You will experience unique and impressive landscapes by vehicle and on foot: Venture on a moderate-hike through the undulating 5-mile-long Coastal Path, in contact with nature and with the insight and support of an expert guide. Then, you will continue by vehicle to the following attractions.
Unlike other Andean-Patagonian parks, Tierra del Fuego National Park has forests by the Beagle Channel's seashore. In "Lapataia Bay" (meaning "woody bay" or "bay of wood" in the Yámana tongue), you will get to know a good example of that. Enjoy the ride and the outstanding vistas along the bay before continuing by vehicle to Green Lagoon, Ovando river, and Acigami lake (Roca lake). At the end of this excursion, you will be driven back to your hotel. Note: If you prefer a less demanding activity, don't worry! You may choose to walk a few shorter and softer trails instead (please, kindly request the "Soft Trekk" option when booking to let us know in advance).
Today, a private transfer will take you to Ushuaia Airport to take your flight. Say goodbye to this Patagonian paradise! **Notes: Our itinerary is pretty flexible, so if you want to add extra nights or tours to this itinerary, we can quote them for you. Just make sure to let us know in advance using the ‘Special Requirements’ box while booking. Also, the itinerary may vary according to the evaluation of the guide, the characteristics of the group, weather conditions, etc
