If you want to see the most important places in Cappadocia in a short time,DON'T MISS THIS TOUR.Our first stop will be Göreme Panorama with its magnificent view of Mount Erciyes. Then, you will visit the Zelve Open Air Museum, an old village where Greeks and Turks lived together until 1924. After Paşabağları, you can visit a pottery workshop in Avanos to see magnificent handmade ceramics and watch one of the group practice pottery making. Then, you will go to your restaurant for lunch. After the underground city, you will visit the Uçhisar Castle, the highest point in Cappadocia.     Kaymakli Underground City

    Kaymakli Underground City is the biggest and deepest underground settlement in the Cappadocia region. Located in the Kaymaki Village, Kaymakli Underground City is also one most popular places to see in Cappadocia. Kaymakli Underground City has 8 levels underground (only 4 are open) carved from the soft volcanic stone that are connected with each other by narrow tunnels. Visitors may visit stalls, stables, stores, refectories, churches, wineries, kitchens and the other sections. Going for 40 meters under the ground, Kaymakli Underground City has a capacity of 5000 people. It is very exciting to imagine that how people lived here.     Zelve Open Air Museum

    Zelve open air museum Zelve open-air museum, which once was the home of one of the largest communities in the region, is an amazing abandoned cave village. Zelve is situated about 7 km from Göreme. Christians and Muslims lived together here in perfect harmony until 1924. Then Christians had to leave the country because of the exchange of minorities between Greece and Turkey, and Muslims in their turn were forced to leave the village in the 50s, when life became too dangerous because of the risk collapsing as a result of erosion. They set up a modern village, a little further on, to which they gave the name Yeni Zelve (New Zelve).

    Avanos

    Avanos Pottery Demonstration Pottery made with wheels, dating back to the Hittites in Avanos, is still continued by the local people with the wise and experience of the past, passing from ancestor to grandfather, grandfather to father, father to son. The soft and oily clay soils taken from the Avanos Mountains and Kızılırmak beds are sifted, first turning into mud, then into dough in the form of a spinning top, and then into pottery in the hands of skilled craftsmen. Thus begins the story of a pottery. When you see the pottery of Avanos, the pottery workshop of Cappadocia, you will understand that they actually have artistic souls in their genes.     Uchisar

    Bottom of the Uchisar Castle We will not climb the castle we stop bottom of the castle and see it from outside . Uchisar Castle is the only place where Erciyes and Hasan Mountain can be seen together. The place where the creator of Mount Erciyes, that is, the Cappadocia Region, can be seen best is Uçhisar Castle. Since the Roman period, many rooms, houses, shelters, warehouses, cisterns, tombs, and cellars have been carved into it, and it has been an important defense point against Arab raids. Large stone cannonballs used for defense against attackers were kept on it. Uchisar Castle, which was used both as a watchtower and a defense castle, maintained its importance during the Seljuk and Principalities periods.
