Head to Peyto Lake for a hike to an incredible lookout point, where you'll experience a unique, elevated perspective of the lake's iconic wolf-head shape, surrounded by snow-covered peaks. A perfect way to enjoy the winter beauty of the Canadian Rockies!
Following a short journey, we'll wander along the shoreline of Bow Lake, taking in the breathtaking views of the frozen lake and two stunning glaciers. Pause to warm up with a cozy cup of hot chocolate, tea or coffee.
At Lake Louise, enjoy up to 1.5 hours to explore, whether you choose to ice skate, snowshoe, hike, play ice hockey, or simply soak in the scenery. For a relaxing alternative, admire the world-class views while dining at the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise.

1Peyto Lake Trail
A winter hike to Peyto Lake viewpoint offers one of the most picturesque views in the region! To access the viewpoint, you will hike approximately 2.4 kilometres (1.5 miles), with a 93 metre (305 feet) elevation gain. Ice cleats and poles provided!

2Bow Lake
In winter, Bow Lake transforms into a tranquil snow-covered paradise. Spend ~30 minutes wandering the shoreline taking in the breathtaking views before heading to Peyto lake.
