Reaching Everest Base Camp: The pinnacle of our journey is reaching Everest Base Camp, a surreal moment that surpasses all expectations. Surrounded by towering peaks and the vast expanse of the Khumbu Icefall, we stand in awe of this legendary site, humbled by the sheer magnitude of nature's creation.
Sunrise at Kala Patthar: An altitude of 5,643 meters, this vantage point offers panoramic views of Everest and its neighboring peaks, bathing the Himalayas in a golden glow that is nothing short of magical.
You will take an early flight to Lukla. The flight is dramatic and exciting at the same time. Upon reaching Lukla, you will hike up to Phakding.
After an early breakfast, you will hike towards the starting point of the ECB journey. Namche Bazar is a beautiful and famous Sherpa village full of shops, cafes, and hotels.
This is a rest day. Have breakfast with a magnificent view of the Everest Range. Roam around and visit the gully-way shops and cafes.
We ascend towards Tengboche village & has the Tengboche monastery, the biggest monastery in the Everest region.
Our trail goes through lush forests. We can admire views of Mt. Everest, Lhotse, and Ama Dablam. We pas through Imja Valley and Lobuche River to get to Dingboche.
Spending a day in Dingboche will help us acclimate to the high altitude. Admire the picturesque Imja Khola Valley and the Dingboche village.
The trail drops to the Khumbu Glacier moraine, we come close to great peaks, like Khumbutse, Lingtren, Pumori, and Mahalangur Himal.
The trek to EBC is not very difficult. We can enjoy amazing views of the Nuptse, Khumbuste, and Pumori mountains from the EBC. After soaking in the beauty, we walk back towards Gorak Shep, where we spend the night.
This may be the most opportune moment of the whole journey to snap amazing pictures of Everest and its neighboring peaks. Afterward, it's back to Gorakshep for breakfast and down to Pheriche.
The walk from Pheriche back to Tengboche is mainly downhill. We'll be in Namche by late afternoon and off to bed before the night.
We walk through the Sherpa villages with lots of prayer stones and prayer flags all over the village. You trek toward the Hillary Suspension Bridge and then pass through several local villages. You arrive at Lukla in the evening & party with your trekking crew.
You will catch the early morning flight to Kathmandu from Lukla.
